Con 91 años, Sir Chris Bonington, considerado uno de los montañistas más grandes de la historia, vuelve a Torres del Paine, en la Patagonia chilena, el lugar donde hizo historia 62 años atrás.

En 1963, junto a Don Whillans, fue el primero en alcanzar la legendaria cumbre de la Torre Central.

Hoy, en uno de los últimos capítulos de su vida y mientras convive con la enfermedad de Alzheimer, emprende un regreso cargado de esperanza: despertar recuerdos que el tiempo ha ido borrando.

At 91, Sir Chris Bonington, considered one of the greatest mountaineers in history, returns to Torres del Paine in Chilean Patagonia, the place where he made history 62 years ago.

In 1963, along with Don Whillans, he was the first to reach the legendary summit of the Central Tower.

Today, in one of the final chapters of his life and while living with Alzheimer’s disease, he embarks on a return filled with hope: to awaken memories that time has been erasing.
