Lucho Birkner es un escalador profesional y Co Fundador de Climbing for a Reason, organización sin fines de lucro que busca en distintas partes del mundo convertir a personas locales en escaladores de sus propias rocas.
Con proyectos realizados en países como Angola, Tanzania, Suriname, Pakistán, entre otros y trabajando en lugares desde cero , la organización ha logrado convertir estos sitios en destinos muy visitados a través de la comunidad global de escalada.
Un viaje de escalada con un toque social es lo que esta organización ha logrado impulsar, donde con más de 300 voluntarios han logrado reconstruir escuelas, orfanatos y dar un mejor nivel de educación a lugares que no veían muchas más oportunidades que las que tenía en a su alcanza.
