Descubre en este documental un territorio oculto , clave de proteger y conservar a tan sólo 60 kms de Santiago El predio de Río Colorado fue restituido el año 2019 por el Ejército de Chile al Ministerio de Bienes Nacionales. Sumado al Bien Nacional Protegido Río Olivares conforman un gran territorio fiscal de 142.000 ha.
La belleza escénica de los valles de ambos ríos, rodeados de altas cumbres y glaciares, sorprende, y por su cercanía a Santiago tiene el potencial para ser un parque que nos identifique como capital mundial del montaña , proteger más de 300 glaciares que son los que entregan el agua a la cuenca de Santiago, para preservar esta importante zona de biodiversidad, flora y fauna de la zona central. El objetivo de esta campaña es declarar Parque Nacional a esta propiedad fiscal, salvaguardando en forma permanente aguas, glaciares y ecosistemas de este territorio.
